How to Apply for Vietnam Visa from United Kingdom?

You are UK passport holder; you can choose one of two ways below in order to apply and get a Vietnam visa for the commercial investment, tourism or education purpose. Among them, visa on arrival is nowadays becoming the most common way for foreigner to Vietnam.

1. Apply a visa on arrival to Vietnam

If you live far away from Vietnam Embassy in UK or do not wish to send out your passport, you can check requirement and apply online for a Vietnam visa on arrival, which you will be used to pick up your full visa at arrival airport under the agreement of the Vietnam Immigration Department in Vietnam. It may take you a maximum of two (02) days for completing the visa approval letter (see image).

• Fill out the secure application form online
• Get confirmation and payment requirements
• Get your visa approval letter within one (01) or two (02) working days later and instructions to get your visa stamped
• Get your visa stamped into your passport on arrival

*** If you have children travelling with you and they have their own passports, you will be required to apply and pay the same fees as if they were an adult.

2. Apply in person at Vietnam Embassy

If you would like to come and apply in person for your Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy located in London. As the Embassy, you will be required to apply by yourself and pay for visa fee for full visa process. Besides, you have to leave your original passport there until 5-6 days, in order that they will send your application to Vietnam Immigration Department in Vietnam for checking whether your profile and requirement for a visa to Vietnam will be approval or not.
